Welcome to the Les Trois Fleurs Artistic Muse blog!
The dream of owning a “shop” has been in my creative process since my youth. As a young girl I followed in the footsteps of my grandmother, a milliner and seamstress. She would bring me home scraps of fabric and I would turn them into miniature “Christian Dior” and other couture suits for my Barbie doll. At age 5… business suits…. was I just a little serious? Later I grew into creating my own clothes (you guessed it -suits. I did make some dresses!). Later I continued my creative development through other crafts (slip covers, art work in various media, porcelain dolls and ceramics, macrame, jewelry, and embroidery crafts).
In 2007, I was asked if I wanted to start a bookstore for our metaphysical center in Richmond Heights. The idea grew and flourished and the shop celebrated its grand opening in April of 2008. Part of the vision for this shop was to further the work of local artists, as well as my own – specifically work that inspires, lifts, and fills the viewer or wearer with happiness and other higher qualities. I have been student of metaphysics for over 28 years now and invoking higher energies into my creative work is something I strive for everyday.
